Who We Help
Michael supports clients of all ages and abilities through NDIS, Medicare, WorkCover, and private health funds. His specialties include:
- Chronic pain and musculoskeletal injuries (e.g. lower back pain, tendon and muscle recovery)
- Neurological and mental health conditions
- Diabetes and metabolic health
- Autism spectrum support for children, teens, and adults
- Post-surgical rehab, falls prevention, and functional movement training
- Coordination, strength, balance, and mobility enhancement
Why Choose an Exercise Physiologist?
An Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) is a university-qualified allied health professional who specialises in using evidence-based exercise to help people manage injury, disability, chronic conditions and pain.
Unlike a gym or personal training program, Exercise Physiology is:
-
Clinical and therapeutic, not generic fitness
-
Individually prescribed based on your condition and goals
-
Focused on function, recovery and long-term outcomes
-
Often supported by NDIS, WorkCover and private health funds
Exercise Physiology can help improve:
- Strength and mobility
- Pain management
- Balance and coordination
- Confidence and independence
- Cardiovascular and muscular endurance
All programs are tailored to your needs and delivered in a safe, supportive environment

Our Unique Approach
With a degree in Clinical Exercise Rehabilitation and over 15 years of experience, Michael designs progressive movement programs that evolve with your healing. His method looks at your end goal first — then builds a practical path to get you there, without overwhelm or stagnation.
As part of his work, Michael also offers a specialised boxing-based program designed to support individuals with autism, neurological disabilities, or developmental delays. This fun, structured program blends boxing movements, sensory exercises, and resistance training to help improve neuromuscular coordination, balance, strength, fitness, and mood.
Participants learn foundational boxing skills using tools such as focus pads, boxing bags, skipping ropes, and reaction balls — all adapted to suit each individual’s abilities and needs. This program is available to all ages and experience levels, and can be delivered under NDIS where eligible.
Funding
Exercise Physiology may be funded through:
- NDIS – Plan-managed and self-managed
- Work Cover/CTP
- Medicare (with GP referral)
- Private Health Funds
Referrals are only required for Medicare-rebated services.
