Disability Exercise Support

At Akeso Natural, we empower NDIS participants to move with strength, confidence and independence.

How We Work

At Akeso Natural Exercise Physiology, we provide specialised disability exercise physiology services for NDIS participants and individuals living with physical, neurological and developmental disabilities. Our programs are designed to improve mobility, strength, coordination, confidence and independence through structured, evidence-based movement.

Led by Accredited Exercise Physiologist Michael, our approach goes beyond basic exercise. We focus on building real-world function that supports daily life – moving, transferring, balancing, walking, posture, endurance and self-trust in the body.

Why our clients love Akeso Natural

Anne DorroughSydney, NSW

Michael is an amazing exercise physiologist who has supported and guided me through the preparation and recovery of two hip replacements. I was able to successfully transit from being in pain and unable to exercise to building my confidence with exercises, going to gym and walking daily. With Michael’s ongoing encouragement I worked towards my personal exercise and mental goals. I highly recommend Michael to anyone wanting to improve and work towards becoming the best version of themselves.

Having suffered a stroke in 2019 with complete left side weakness, after several months of rehab in hospital I contacted Akeso Natural, Michael Chrysthanou who was responsive, well informed, courteous and very helpful. Mike developed a personalised training plan to specifically target strengthening those muscle groups in a calculated and methodical process of which Michael personally oversaw. I was worried initially that I had potentially reached the limit of my recovery prior to meeting with Michael, however Mike continued challenging me and always understood the limit, never cutting any corners but aiding in my methodical recovery. His approach & discipline is truly remarkable.

Words can never express my gratitude and love for what you have helped me achieve this far. I look forward to each and every time I speak with you, knowing I am growing and becoming better. I am so looking forward to the times where we are strategizing businesses or the like once I build myself enough to move through the current challenges.

We were lucky enough to be referred to Georgia through a friend. She has worked closely with our 16 year old son through some challenges adapting to change. Her guidance and approach has been life changing for both him and us as a family. She has helped him build self confidence to approach these challenges and help him build skills he will use many times in the future. We cannot thank Georgia enough and highly recommend her fabulous services. Thank you Georgia

Michael has been working with our son for the last 3 years and has built great rapport with him. From the outset our son had poor upper body strength and bad posture unable to skip rope or defend himself. He can now skip both forward and backward movements of the rope including 10 forward uninterrupted skips. His upper body has developed both visually and physically such that he can now do chin ups. He now works with both bar and handheld weights. Michael manages to mix up the sessions so the content is always varied to keep it interesting as well as challenging. Our son has made great progress and looks forward to his sessions every week. We know that he is in very good hands with Michael and highly recommend all his services.
